In 1977, Gérard Hervé Polisset ventured into Stockholms nightlife to document what turned out to be the first punk wave in Sweden. This book is a collection of 60 portraits from that year by Gérard Hervé Polisset.
The portraits are accompanied by interviews conducted 30 years later by the music journalist Håkan Lahger who was commissioned to find the subjects—most located and participated, some found to be deceased—and record their experiences from 1977 and why they joined the punk wave. Some are famous faces in todays Swedish cultural circles, including Anders Grafström, Lena Endre and Olle Ljungström.
This large format book (270x380 mm) features Gérard Hervé Polisset's photographs with texts by Håkan Lahger and Claes Britton. Texts are in both Swedish and English. Published in 2018 by Orosdi-Back.
