In the book In and Outside the Greenhouse, Anneli Lindstrom presents her haiku poems and her own illustrations inspired by Japanese poetry and visual art from the 17th to 18th centuries. The poems are written from a contemporary perspective compared on early Japanese poetry. She interprets and visualizes nature’s vegetation in her own way, and has chosen to photograph flowers and greenery on different occasions, in and outside the greenhouse, and edit the photographs as illustrations and collages inspired by Japanese art, especially flower art.
Anneli is an art historian, author, illustrator and silver designer.
